Electrician — Ellesmere Port
Ellesmere Port is fifteen minutes from our HQ. We cover the full town from Whitby and Sutton through to Little Sutton and Great Sutton, plus the industrial estate work along the M53 corridor. EV charger installs in particular have been busy here — the Vauxhall plant's pivot to electric vehicles seems to have made the locals enthusiasts.
A lot of Ellesmere Port housing dates from the 1960s–80s, much of it ex-council. We frequently see metal-clad consumer units and dual-RCD boards that need upgrading to RCBO. Routine consumer unit + EV charger as a combined job is probably our most common Ellesmere Port appointment.
For the Whitby/Sutton industrial estates we do 3-phase distribution work, machinery wiring and EICR for commercial leases. Also a fair amount of EV workplace charging — the post-COVID return-to-office trend pushed several local employers to add charging as a recruitment perk.
