Reference projects: Boodles flagship Liverpool — full retail lighting and small-power refresh, weekend closure only. NHS Clatterbridge — a new high-power supply pulled in to the main kitchen. JM Precision Engineering — 3-phase machinery installs.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Are you on any approved supplier lists?

NAPIT registered (NAP-48391), Constructionline Gold, NHS Crown Commercial Service approved supplier for electrical maintenance, and registered with several principal contractors. We carry £5m public liability and £10m employers' liability cover.

Can you work out of hours?

Yes — most retail and hospitality fit-outs we do are evenings, overnights and weekends to keep the unit trading. We charge a modest premium (10–15%) for out-of-hours rates and provide that on the quote.

Do you provide design or work to drawings?

Both. For smaller projects we typically design (lighting layout, circuit schedule, schematic) as part of the package. For larger projects we work to the M&E consultant's drawings and provide installation drawings and as-built record drawings on completion.

How do you handle power isolations during a live retail fit?

We programme isolations week-by-week, notify the tenant in writing 48 hours ahead, and where possible provide temporary supplies (festoon, generator, battery-backed) so trading isn't affected. For NHS work all isolations are coordinated with the estates team and patient services.

What's your typical lead time for a tender response?

5–10 working days for a tender response on most projects, 2–3 days if it's an existing client or a repeat fit-out specification. We're open about our pipeline so you can plan around our availability.
